About

ByteFest is GEMS New Millennium School's annual tech festival — a day where coders, robot-builders, AI tinkerers and gamers take over the campus. It started as a hackathon and grew into six tracks across four arenas. Whether you ship code in your sleep or you've never written a line, there's a track built for you. Bring an idea, a team, or just curiosity.

FAQ

What is ByteFest?

A one-day tech festival at GEMS New Millennium School, Dubai Hills: six powerhouse events across four arenas — AI, robotics, coding and e-sports — and one epic day to celebrate technology.

Who can take part?

ByteFest is for school students. Each track has its own age group and team rules — open a track's full brief on the wheel above to see its grade and capacity.

What if I can't code yet?

Come anyway. GameGrid and the robotics tracks reward very different skills from coding, and every track is a chance to learn something.

Can I enter more than one event?

No. As the events are conducted in parallel, each student is allowed to participate in only one event throughout ByteFest.
